I’m a teacher with over ten years of tutoring and teaching experience combined. I have taught middle school math in the public school system and ESL in China. My passion for teaching comes from my own educational experience as a student within the US public school system, and as an ESL teacher in China. Both of these experiences have shown me that a traditional educational system based on text-book learning, standardized tests, rote memorization, getting accolades that add “letters to the end of your name” does not necessarily lead to a purposeful and meaningful career.
